The school reports to parents at the end of each term using the following format:

  • Term 2: 3 Way Conference
  • Term 2: Formal System Report
  • Term 3: A Learning Journey (Open Night)
  • Term 4: Formal System Report & Portfolio of Evidence

Learning Journeys

During the last week of third term or early fourth term our students have the opportunity to show their class-work to family members. Open Night is not a formal interview night and adopts the form of reporting to parents as each child takes the family on a ‘Learning Journey’.

Independent Assessment

As part of the school’s information management system, the following testing program will also be carried out. The Education Department testing includes:

  • a. National Assessment Program Literacy & Numeracy (NAPLAN) Testing in Year 3, 5 & 7.

  • c. Year 4 Primary Extension and Challenge (P.E.A.C.)
  • d. Selected tests from the University of New South Wales (optional).
  • e. Arnold Bentley Music Aptitude Test.

Assessment at school includes continuous assessment by teachers including use of the Outcomes and Standards Framework, Literacy Net and Numeracy Net.
